Girlfriend in a Coma by Douglas Coupland
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This was an enjoyable book to read. The style is fine. The language is clear and concise. In places it is funny or sad. Somewhere in the middle I stopped caring about the characters - maybe I was just not concentrating - but they later became interesting again. I think the story treads a thin line between being deeply meaningful and being corny. I think it tap dances on both sides of that line at times, but overall, this is a good book - worth reading.
